May World Ranking - Wang Yue Gu Fall Out of Top 10 Places
In the latest World Ranking published by the ITTF, Wang Yue Gu and Li Jiawei suffered a drop in their World Ranking. Wang Yue Gu, who was upset in the World Championships, got overtaken by Hong Kong's Jiang Huajun and China's Liu Shiwen and is currently ranked 11th. Adding on to the disappointment, Li Jiawei who has been absent in the international arena is also threatened of a Top 10 place. She is currently at the 10th position. 

For the rest of the female paddlers, their World Ranking remain the same. Feng Tianwei remain at the 6th place while Sun Bei Bei is at 30. Yu meng Yu is 2 places behind at 32. Singaporean youths Sim Kai Xin Zena and Li Siyun Isabelle are at 317 and 360 respectively.

Our male paddlers suffered as well after an early exit in the World Championships. Yang Zi fall out of the Top 50 ranks, the worse ranking since December 2006. He is currently at 51. Top paddler Gao Ning, who was ranked 25th last month suffered a dip. He is now ranked at 27th. Meanwhile, the experienced Cai Xiao Li is at 148. Pang Xue Jie who almost qualified for the Main Draw after causing upsets increase his ranking by almost a hundred, from 627 to 548.
