ITTF Pro Tour German Open - Draws
Our paddlers dominated the female events with Li Jia Wei, Feng Tian Wei and Wang Yue Gu being seeded 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively in the Women's Singles Event. The other Seeded female paddlers include Sun Bei Bei who occupies the 6th Seeded berth, and Yu Meng Yu. Sim Kai Xin Zena, who is playing in her first overseas Pro Tour, will the the only female paddler to play in the qualification stage. Zena is grouped together with England's Parker Joanna and Russian player Mikhaylova Polina. Both players have a higher ranking than Zena. Her chances of getting pass the qualification stage is quite slim.

According to the draw, Jiawei is likely to meet Japan's blocker Fukuoka Haruna in the Quarter Finals and Japan's prodigy Fukuhara Ai in the Semi Finals. As for Feng, she has a much better draw. in the Semi Finals, she will most likely meet the winner between Sun Bei Bei and Wang Yue Gu, who will be playing against one another in the Quarter Finals. As for Yu Meng Yu, she has to get pass Austria's Liu Jia and Japan's Fukuhara Ai to get into the Semi Finals.

The female team made up by the Li, Feng and Wang is also the 1st Seeded in the Women's Team Event.

In the Men's counterpart, Ma Liang and Liu Zhong Ze will be playing in the qualification stage. Ma Liang is drawn together with Drinkhall Paul from England and Golebiowski Mateusz from Poland, whilst Liu Zhong Ze is grouped with Spain's Machado Carlos and Polond's Fertikowski Pawel.

In the Men's Singles Main Draw, Gao Ning and Yang Zi will be having a hard time. Gao Ning will be facing Chinese Taipei's Wu Chih-Chi in the 2nd round and Austrian Gardos Robert in the round of 16. He will then meet 2nd Seeded, Germany's talented Ovtcharov Dimitrij in the Quarter Finals. Yang Zi is scheduled to meet Denmark's Micheal Maze in the Round of 16 and Cheung Yuk of Hong Kong in the Quarter Finals. If he is to get pass both of them, he is likely to meet Top Seeded, Germany's Boll Timo.

Our Men's Team which comprises of Gao Ning, Yang Zi and Ma Liang is Seeded 2nd, behind Chinese Taipei.
